Basic Functions of Position:
The ETRC Assistant shall assist in the operational activity of the ETRC under the guidance of the ETRC Coordinator. The responsibilities will include providing guidance to English teachers concerning the use of materials as well as full librarian services: managing circulation of books, processing acquisitions, keeping track of library resources and orders from users, responding to outside inquiries via telephone and email, providing consultations to Internet users, making arrangements for weekly seminars for English teachers, and other services as required.

Required Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Ukrainian
University degree and experience in English language education
Must be familiar with standard office equipment (computer, fax) and good IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Excellent customer service skills

The English Teaching Resource Center (ETRC) is a multi-purpose pedagogical center located at the English Department of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine. It functions as a lending library, a reading room and a seminar room. All teachers of English may become members. Membership is free of charge. The ETRC has an inventory of over 5000 books and 600 audio and videocassettes for teachers of English.
