Job Description:
The Senior Developer will design technical architecture for the next generation of business process enterprise software. The successful candidate will leverage his/her exceptional knowledge of object-oriented, web-based development and advanced modeling techniques to implement scalable, multi-tiered applications. The Senior Developer will be the de facto technical leader for solution development, guiding development activities and reviewing product deliverables for functional, performance, and architectural conformance. He/she will specify and implement the development platform, methodology, and toolset.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years of development experience. 3+ years of Java and enterprise platform development.
- Extensive experience with Web and Enterprise Application Integration architectures.
- Significant experience in developing large-scale enterprise business solutions in a multiplatform environment including J2EE technologies; preferred domains are BPM, ECM, and EAI.
- Provided end-to-end architectural leadership for at least one successful product release or custom solution.
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with J2EE and Web Services (SOAP, WSDL, UDDI). Solid knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOA/OOD), UML, and RUP.
- Experienced with industry standard J2EE and Java frameworks and design patterns.
- Solid data architecture, RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server), and XML expertise. Able to adopt and extend industry standard schemas to meet complex internal and interface requirements.
- Significant experience in physical/implementation architectures to ensure scalable performance.
- Experience with best practice user interface and navigation conventions.
- Ability to work in an agile team environment.
- Ability to effectively document and communicate the system design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required (English).
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Engineering or Computer Science; Master’s degree preferred.

Additional Experience Desired:
- COM/.NET expertise.
- Consulting experience.
- IBM or FileNet product experience.
- ERP and legacy system integration experience.
