Our Client, a large foreign company with leading positions in distribution of IT, consumer electronic goods and services that represents more than 30 vendors (Intel, Microsoft, Samsung, HP, IBM, Asus, Canon etc.), is announcing an opening for the position of Managing Director. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: delivery of company start-up in Ukraine (set up of company operations in Ukraine, shortlist of potential office and warehouse places, selection of key employees and other needed resources); preparation and implementation of a start-up sales and marketing strategy in line with global strategy; preparation and presentation of budgets to Company board; selection and maintenance of customer base from contact establishment to successful deal closure; fulfillment of general company sales and profit budget; establishment and maintenance of relationships with key suppliers, respective legal institutions. Major requirements: University Degree, 3+ years proven sales management experience within a large local or foreign company (distributor or dealer of IT \ consumer electronics); full awareness of all trends in IT/telecom sector (broad industry knowledge, ability to identify main issues and recognize trends); knowledge of indirect sales schemes: Vendor - distributor, distributor – dealer, dealer - business customer; general understanding of all the company management processes – sales, accounting, HR, logistics; experience in organization of sales and marketing operations (marketing, pricing, building relationships with customers); successful people management experience; pro-active approach, high level of leadership, planning and organization skills; good negotiation, presentation and interpersonal skills; working knowledge of English is a must for the position.
