Location: Kyiv, Ukraine (Podol District)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* As Manager of Quality Assurance, you will not only be the leader for the QA team, you are also the leader for all ongoing projects with a focus on the delivery of various testing related initiatives
* Promote and direct test automation processes for multiple application teams across several sites. This includes performance and functional test tools, scripts, test harnesses, data scrubbing, and any other opportunity to apply automation to manual testing activities
* Ensure structured testing methodologies exist and are followed, using industry best practices
* Analyze monthly metrics on all projects and identify project risks and improvement opportunities
* Review test estimates and deliverables for completeness, accuracy, and effectiveness
* Coordinate communication outside Product Development for performance testing, user reviews, tools, and environmental issues
* Structure, organize, and recruit resources needed to ensure that objectives can be met
* Promote internal education and resource development
* Interface with software development team to ensure quality methodolgy followed in development process


REQUIREMENTS:

* 5+ years experience with hands on automation testing
* 3+ years of management experience
* Strong technical skills in application design and system architecture
* Strong knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and best practices, and be very familiar with the delivery of large scope software projects
* Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated strong leadership skills
* Experience with automated testing tools: Silk Performer, Load Runner, Win Runner, Rational Robot, etc.
* Experience with Borland SilkTest (Strongly Preferred)
* Experience in implementing highly structured testing processes (strong knowledge of testing concepts, practices, and procedures) and automation labs
* Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
* Experience with Agile Development, RUP, CMMI, and Six Sigma is desired
* Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
* Experience in testing large, business-critical applications for a commercial software vendor
* Experience working with cross-functional teams
* Fluent English – written and verbal
* Excellent team-building skills
* Customer focused

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's degree
