With its headquarters in Leuven, Belgium and branches all over the world, the Materialise Group has acquired the position of market leader for 3D printing and Digital CAD software in addition to being a major player in medical and dental image processing and surgery simulation. Materialise Ukraine, established in 2000, – Research & Development Centre within Materialise Group with specialization in desktop and on-line.
As a result of our growth we are looking for professional and talented Medical Engineer with a knowledge of the human anatomy for our Research & Development Office in Kiev.

The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:

• MS/BS degree in biomedical engineering or Medicine;
• Knowledge of radiology is a plus, especially in the knee area;
• Advanced MS Windows 98/2000/NT/XP/vista user skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Good command of English both in speech and writing is required;
• Basic knowledge of CAD systems and medical cad programs (working with CT/MRI-scanners) is a plus;
• A successful candidate should be open-minded, positive thinking and communicative person;
• Able to have business trips to Belgium.

Your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:

• Conversion of scanned data into 3-dimensional images;
• Processing, preparation and conversion of such data;
• Using a design tool to create a “knee surgyguides”, make planning of surgery.

Start of the project is planning for June, 2008.
