As a result of growth our company looks for a Unix System Administrator for our Kiev office.

The potential candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Master/bachelor degree in Computer Since or related domain
• 5+ years on hands technical experience with implementation, management and support of production Unix/Solaris environment
• Experience and good knowledge of Bourne Shell and Perl programming;
• Good knowledge of the following services/technologies/protocols:
Solaris,OS,DNS,SMTP,NFS,Samba
FTP/FTPS,SSH/SFTP,TCP/IP Monitoring and reporting systems
• Ability to make plans, document procedures and work accordingly;
• Experience with MS Office tools (Visio)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team;
• Good verbal and written communication skills (English);
• Experience with Apache, Nagios, Cricket, BigBrother, MySQL, rsync considered as a plus
• Experience with other UNIX OS (FreeBSD, Linux) considered as a plus
• Experience and knowledge of LAN/WAN setup/support considered as a plus
• Experience with load balancing solutions considered as a plus
• Experience as an ISP UNIX administrator considered as a plus
• Solaris training/certification considered as a plus

Major responsibilities will include:
• Participation in support and improvement of the following corporate services:
* Naming services
* Mail services
* File access/transfer services
* Monitoring and reporting system
• Operation of environment support of other critical UNIX based services:
* Database servers
* Source control servers
• Participation in development and improvement of UNIX production management framework WW.
• Participation in development, implementation and support of Disaster Recovery Procedures.
